David Keswick Athletic Centre
The David Keswick Athletic Centre halls are available to hire for public use by clubs and individuals. Facilities are available to book 17:00 – 22:00 Monday to Friday and 10:00 – 16:00 on a Saturday and Sunday. Facilities are extremely popular so booking you may find no availability at certain times and days. Casual bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance, for block bookings please speak to an attendant to request a booking form.
All casual bookings to be made online and paid for in advance. If you require to book the 3G please call the office on 01387 269423.
Main Hall Badminton Court
Main hall hosts 5 badminton courts. High ceilings make it ideal for the more advanced player. Courts can be booked single or in groups. Charge is per court per hour. Equipment available to hire on request. Please select the number of courts you require.
Main Hall (Whole Hall)
The main hall boasts 5 badminton courts and 12 basket-ball hoops. At certain times the hall can be curtained off to split into thirds.
Side Hall 1
Side hall one has one full badminton court and 6 basketball hoops. This hall is more suitable to the younger or less advanced badminton player due to its slightly lower ceiling height.
Side Hall 2
Side hall two also has one full badminton court and 2 basketball hoops. This hall is more suitable to the younger or less advanced badminton player due to its slightly lower ceiling height.
Viewing Gallery
The area is fully carpeted with low ceilings making it ideal for table tennis, dance groups or other floor based work. This space is well suited for meetings and conferences.
Running Track
The David Keswick Athletics Centre boasts an 8 lane competition running track. the track is fully lit by floodlights. Track is £3.20/£2 admission or included in the track and gym membership. There is also long jump, javelin, shot put and high jump facilities.
3G Pitch
Prices start from £32 The pitch is only available by booking over the phone.
Multi Use Games Area (MUGA)
The MUGA is an outdoor sand based area which has 3 tennis courts. Courts can be booked individually or as a whole area. Suitable for 5 a side football also. Please select the age group of the booking type you would like to book.
Resource Base (Meeting Room)
Meeting room is available to hire, screens and power points make this room ideal for small meetings
Gym Memberships
The David Keswick Athletic Centre holds an 18 station fitness suite and a strength and conditioning suite. A current introductory gym membership is £18 a month for an adult membership and £13 a month for a concession. A gym induction is compulsory prior to joining.
